“DELTA Shipping Services” Ltd. was registered in 2006.

The company conducts commercial activities on the freight market as a shipbroker for the chartering of dry cargo vessels engaged in coastal shipping between the ports of the Black Sea, the Mediterranean Sea, and the Baltic Sea, as well as along the inland waterways of Europe — the Danube River, the Main–Danube Canal, the Main River, and the Rhine River — covering Eastern European and Western European seaports and ports situated along Europe’s navigable rivers.

The sole owner and manager of the company is Delyan Kostadinov, PhD (son). The company’s operational activities are carried out by Ognyan Kostadinov, DSc (father), who has been working in the field of water transport since 1982. He graduated in Navigation from the Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy in 1982, and in 2004 he successfully passed the qualifying examinations for membership in the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers in London. His maritime, technical, and commercial education, combined with more than 44 years of professional experience — both at sea, as a master in the technical fleet and on harbour tugboats, and ashore, as a ship operator, broker, agent, port terminal manager, ISM Code Manager, and Designated Person Ashore (DPA) — as well as his dedication to the maritime business, contribute to the company’s strong performance in the organization and contracting of sea and river transport, as well as in cargo-handling operations at ports.
